JobPost Capture Privacy Policy

JobPost Capture is a Chrome extension that helps users manually capture job post information from the active browser tab, review and edit the captured fields, save records locally, and export saved records as a CSV file.

Data Collected

JobPost Capture may collect website content from the active job post page only when the user clicks the "Capture Job Post" button. This may include:

• Job title
• Job description or "about the job" content
• Company description or company information
• Company industry
• Company employee count
• LinkedIn job ID
• Source URL and page title
• User-entered applied status

How Data Is Used

The collected data is used only to help the user save, review, edit, manage, and export job post records for personal career tracking and market research.

Data Storage

Captured job post records are stored locally in the user's browser using Chrome local storage. JobPost Capture does not operate an external server for storing captured records.

Data Sharing

JobPost Capture does not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties. The extension does not send captured job post data to external servers.

Remote Code

JobPost Capture does not use remote code. All JavaScript files are packaged with the extension and run locally in the browser.

User Control

Users can review and edit captured fields before saving them. Users can delete individual saved job records, clear all saved records, or export their saved records to a CSV file.
